From the Utility Strip, click the multi-select button. From there I can select the artists, or songs or albums that I want to be in my playlist. After making your selections, click the Add to Playlist button at the top of the view. Add your selections to an existing playlist or create a new playlist. Reorganize & remove songs from playlist from the playlists tab.
